Testing 156 pin, 260 pin, 360 pin ZIFs and Micro Pinless Connectors/Probes
Product Description: The iTest™ Universal Probe Adapter was designed to accommodate the majority of diagnostic ultrasound probes currently on the market. This vendor-neutral device virtually eliminates the need to purchase multiple model-specific probe leakage current adapters. Because of this forward-looking design, it will function with new probe models that are introduced for years to come. Featuring one-hand operation, via a patent-pending probe connector catch mechanism, the Sonora adapter is both convenient and easy to use. Whether testing a probe with a 156 pin, 256 pin, 360 pin, or pinless connector, the operator need only place the connector on the iTest™ device and apply gentle downward pressure until the device locks the probe connector in place at the appropriate level via the collapsible and patent pending connector pyramid. When finished with the leakage test the operator applies pressure once again to release the probe connector. It is not necessary to turn the locking knob on the probe connector, facilitating one-hand operation.
The iTest™ adapter is designed to be both rugged and durable. It replaces the need to have multiple probe model specific adapters, simplifying equipment tracking in a busy hospital biomedical department or in an ultrasound examination laboratory. Although originally designed to be used with the Sonora iTest™ advanced electrical safety analyzer, the Universal Adapter may also be easily used in combination with other commercially available probe electrical leakage testing devices and may, therefore, be purchased as a separate item.
